Houses of Parliament

So as previously said here we were on Lambeth Bridge thinking about photos when we realised the obvious!!

A selfie!!!

So here we are, trying to get Parliament lined up behind me with the sun reflecting off the iPhone when I realised that I had the camera on the wrong lens and I was looking at the building opposite and not the Magnificent one behind me!!!

A quick change of Lens and here we are.

As you can see, I think I need to practice this! but not bad.
Next I tried the Lovely Lambeth Palace, not quite so good, looking at the sun.
Buoyed by my success at this we walked around to the front of St Thomas' Hospital where we got this one.

Hmmmm I think an eager finger caused a bit of a premature exposure!! - try again.

Definitely need more practice.

Better luck with the next installment.

Everyone Loves a Selfie!

At least that's what I think, in this modern age when everyone and their Nan has a mobile phone capable of taking picture. Who hasn't taken a picture of themselves?
I've done it a few times but judging by my Daughter Emily's phone (and she promises me this is normal for a teenager) it's a standard thing to do.

So! On a day trip to London to see the very dull Ideal Homes Exhibition Jacqui and I were standing on Lambeth Bridge wondering what's the best way to get a picture of both of us in without disturbing the obviously busy Londoners.
